We, at Fair Play MMA, are proud to announce the signing of Alain Van De Merckt. Alain joins as a highly touted Middleweight prospect, with a 1-0 pro record. With a competitive kickboxing background, Van De Merckt switched to MMA at 20 years old, and has worked to become the perfect all-around fighter. Over the last number of years Alain has dedicated himself to improving his wrestling and ground game – having trained with the Cuban national wrestling team, and concentrating on his Jiu Jitsu, winning the IBJJF European Trials in the process.
